Loy says: “Othello is one of those simple games that you return to over and over. The rules are simple – place two tiles in your color, and then flip every tile between them to your color – but strategy ebbs and flows with your opponent. Othello (based on an old game called Reversi) is a thoughtful, slow-moving battle between two quick-witted players; and a great game to play with a friend.”

From the box: “Trap other pieces between your own to capture them, but be aware that the opponent may do the same. Pieces will change sides (colors) dozens of times. The winner is the one with the most pieces when no more pieces can be played on the board.”
