From the box: “A horrible crime has been committed on the grounds of Warwick Manor and it’s up to the psychic investigators to get to the bottom of it. In Mysterium, one player takes on the role of the ghost and over the course of a week, tries to lead the investigators to their culprit. Each night the team will be met with visions, but what is the ghost trying to tell you? Can the psychics determine the weapon, location and killer or will a violent criminal pull off the perfect murder?”

Loy says: “I *love* this game! It involves deduction, reasoning, and how well you know the other players. I enjoy playing as both the ghost, hoping that the players will understand my message; and as the psychic, trying to figure out the ghost. The only issue I have with this game is that we binge-played it when it first arrived, so now many of the cards are stale. We’ll fix that by picking up some extensions and by substituting in the Dixit cards. We’ll also overcome by playing with new people, so watch for this game to come out at our events.”

Kiera says: “It’s a fun game for those who like Dixit. It’s also a little like Clue, but a person gets to decide who, what, and weapon. More important, the deduction mechanism isn’t straight up elimination like Clue. There’s some thinking needed. I like to be the ghost because it’s interesting to come up with cards that work for the situation.”
