Sushi Go Party

From the box: “Sushi Go Party!, an expanded version of the best-selling card game Sushi Go!, is a party platter of mega maki, super sashimi, and endless edamame. You still earn points by picking winning sushi combos, but now you can customise each game by choosing à la carte from a menu of more than twenty delectable dishes. What’s more, up to eight players can join in on the sushi-feast. Let the good times roll!”

Dan says: “Sushi Go! is a straight up card drafting game that’s easy to learn and fun to play.  The original Sushi Go! supports up to 5 players and has a fixed deck that is used every time.  Sushi Go Party! Broadens the deck to provide for supporting up to 8 players and a different “menu” each time you play.   Both versions play fast with 3-rounds of draft/play/pass to earn points.  This game should be a staple for any game library.”

Kiera says: “This is a fun but simple game. It’s great for those who like strategy but not overwhelming strategy. Each of the cards has a food on it, styled in a very cute way. It’s almost as much fun to look at as it is to play. It’s one of those pass-your-hand games where you try to make sets, a bit like 7 Wonders. It’s easier, though, because the instructions / scoring are right on the cards. A kid could play it. On another note, I once saw a video of people who had to eat the actual food to get their points. That was hilariously gut-wrenching; they ate a ton of sushi.”
